This week I went to do my practise to “Hertug Hans Skole” It is a really old and public School in Haderslev.
Teachers there are really friendly and really pleasant. They are interested in help me when I need it. Moreover, Anja, my flatfeet is coming with me to do the practice.
That week was so stressful, because we woke up everyday at seven. Then we went to the school and we started our lessons at quarter past eight. At the beginning teaching practical was quite boring, because we was simply observers of he lessons.
But, I had planned a trip for week after Easter, so I told them that I was interested in teaching before Easter. They don’t matter my proposal, even they were glad of it.
We took part in a lot of lessons, like P.E lesson. I played with children to some sport games. It was funny.
We also been in art lessons, and we helped to children to paint Easter eggs. They crated the eggs with clay one lesson before.
Finally, Anja and I prepared an English lesson. We taught some art vocabulary to children. We also had games to practice this vocabulary. And we left them ready for next lesson, which it was about art and magazines. I unfortunately I couldn’t be there, because I was in Mexico, but I´m sure that it was a great lesson.
These few weeks of teaching practical were so useful for a lot of reasons; first I could learn how to explain or how to treat to pupils. I also learned different didactic recourses that I didn’t know before coming.
Today, I know that there are a lot of kinds to teach and methodologies, and we have to use all of them with all and each of our pupils, because some students are able to learn faster than others, and this is the reason because we can’t demand the same contents to everyone. And moreover each pupil has a different quotient, so we have to know how to treat each pupil.
Denmark thought me what is the objective of a real teacher. It is to teach pupils in an easy and funny way. In that way, children will be more comfortable at classroom and they will learn easier and faster.
Teachers’ formation grew up at the classroom with the help of our pupils day by day, because if pupils learn from us, we also can learn from them. Teachers sometimes like us, have to understand children’s mind. Only in this way we will enjoy our job, because today, as a teacher, I can say that lessons are shorter from the other side of the classroom.
