SPANISH POINT OF VIEW

Hi everyone!

Some weeks ago, I lived one of my unforgettable weeks for all my life; I spoke about friendship, funny and free time. But that week not only finish there. It was fantastic because I spent time with Spanish friends and moreover, I learned a lot of them. Now, I’m going to resume all the important and academic moments.

Day 1: Monday 9th.
We met our friends from other cuntries. We had some Danish lessons, where we teach to our news friends to know speak the basic things, I think that it was a really interesting lesson. The we has music lesson, Anette prepare a funny lesson with dancings and songs, and we also used our body to say Danish words.

Day 2: Tuesday 10th.
We visit the awesome city of Ribe, where the Vikings lived! It is a very close and beautiful village. And also we enjoy of a really good weather.

Day 3: Wednesday 11th.
We started that day using the music in different ways, we could use different instrument and things to make melodies. Morover, we made draws of our musical feelings. I think that it is a really interesting activitie to use with our pupils in a future.

Day 4: Thursday 12th.
Our friends visited some schools and then we spoke about this experience together, because I had have this practical two weeks before them arrival. For the Spanish students, that was a very good experience, because we find a lot of differences between the Danish and the Spanish education system. We will bring some ideas to our schools in Spain.

Day 5: Friday 13th.
We prepare our presentation, and then we had a firewall party.



Last night of this week the others Spanish boys and me were speaking about this experience, and we thought that it pass so fast, and maybe they need more time to enjoy of it. They would to be Erasmus students. Otherwise, I’m sure that we will speak good about International week, and if someday, there is someone who ask to us about it we will say:

My best experience in Denmark!

We have met very good people there, who have the same goals than us, to be good persons, responsible persons and enthusiastic persons, because we want to be good teachers and educators. We think that all of us have a big responsibility with our pupils, because they will be the future and we have to do the best.

The Danish education system gives us new ideas to make a more friendship world with people who respects all the cultures and who can live together.

About School experience, we learn a lot of interesting things, Denmark teachers, in Private Schools, don’t follow the normal curriculum, and they prepare their lessons in their own.

Teachers and pupils have a good relationship; they keep a lot of respect to them. Another interesting thing for us, is that pupils, when they arrive to the class, they have more freedom than in Spain, and moreover, they took their shoes during the lesson, in this way, everything is cleaner and the lesson is more comfortable.

Moreover, We could see and live the Danish life style, because it is different than Spanish style, the main difference is that in Denmark, people live relaxing, but they can work a lot of hours with out stress, sometimes they combine personal and professional life. However, in Spain, our life is completely stressful, and we need times to be relaxed, like “Siesta” and “Saturday night parties”.

In Denmark, people eat really less food but many times during long day. And in Spain, we have two meals each day, but they are big.

We liked that experience, because we can enjoy other cultures, their meals, and their custom. Like we said before, we have really good moments, like, first dinner, Danish lesson, Eurovision contest, and School experience, and everything.

But the most important thing is that it is a really good memory for all our life.

MASKS DANCE

Hi everyone!

Today, all Erasmus students went to Aabernraa to a Drama lesson. But any of us knew that we went to have a dance with our teachers.

First of all, we arrive and teachers thought us some typical dances from Denmark, we started to dance while the teacher was playing the musical instrument. It was funny, but the surprise was after the break, teachers said us that we had to act like actors.

Otherwise, I like Drama lesson, and actually I know a lot of things about Drama, because in Spain I have drama lesson three hours per week, but it was new for me. I never had played with masks before. It is a really interesting activity.

Erasmus students divide ourselves in two groups, and then we started to prepare a drama show with masks. We had more than thirty minutes to do it, but this time wasn’t enough to prepare a good show. We thought about what culd we do and then we had to improvised the show. But I think that the result was funny and good.

I could explain everything about this day, because it was amazing, but it is better that you wath it in the next video that I prepare for all of you. Thank you.

CHOICES!!!

Hi everyone!



Last Monday I went to the university like every day, but this week was different, it was the beginning of a special week. There were people from several countries, each one different, but all of them nice and amazing. I need to say that I arrive five minutes late, and I couldn’t meet them before of lesson’s beginning. But then, when I was paying attention to the teacher, I heard behind me a very typical Spanish word, “Hola”, it was the start of a great friendship.

He was Victor, one Spanish boy, from Barcelona, in this moment I felt a really big happiness inside me. Moreover, I also meet Aleix, other Spanish student. Both were amazing, in this moment I thought that the week would be full of good moments. And my expectations comes true.

We spent a lot and long time together, and sometimes one fantastic Portuguese “Duarte” came with us. He was a really nice boy, who pays attention to everything, and he helps you when he can, and moreover, he gives us really personal and meaningful present, one picture of them.(OBRIGADO) We spent all our time like children, and doing funny things.

We did together a lot of activities, excursions and some extra activities, we went to parties, and we were the last people who went to home (like always in Spain). It was a really important experience for me, I enjoy a lot with all international students, but today, everything is finish and I miss Spanish and Portugal boys more than the others.

Sorry, but it is the true, I know that every students were amazing, and it is almost impossible to make a really good friendship with new people with only one week. But in my case, I don’t know how, but it happens.

Maybe, because we spent too much time together, or maybe because I’m the only Spanish student in the Erasmus program, but I had a really good friendship with them and I hope to see them again when I will come back.

This international week was for me like a present, maybe because I’m living with seven wonderful girls, and sometimes I need boys to speak, they gave me what I need here.

Like I said before, we had really good moments, and every good thing have their own end. And it was yesterday. Friday, the last night, we had a party in Christina’s house, my Danish teacher and Victor’s host. Anyway, I think that she is the best host.

Party finished really late, everybody went and I decided to sleep there, because I wanted to stay with them in the moment when they take their bus. We only slept one hour, and then the awful moment arrives, we left from Christina’s house, and the mornng was cold,almost raining, anybody said nothing during the way to bus station, but I only heard the sad noise of Aleix´s luggage mixed with the wind. And finally they take the bus.

In this moment I felt that my place was in Spain, and maybe I could leave everything here and take this bus with them. But it was only a choice, like all in this life.

And today when I woke up, I understood that my place is Spain, and someday I will need to come back, but this moment isn’t yet. I need to stay here, because there are a lot of people who want enjoy of me, and they need me like I need them, I started this trip with my Erasmus team, and I will finish it with them.

I was all day thinking about this week, and I think that it is the first part of this Erasmus experience, because if today I met people for only one week, and when they left I had painful in myself, I can’t imagine what happens the day when all my Erasmus team will come back to their countries.

Maybe, we are sillies, because we knew that before coming, but life is full of choices and we decided to come here, even so we know that last day we will have a bad felling. Probably, one of the worst filling of our life, because it is like the famous show “BIG BROTHER” and today we are like a great family.

After that, some of my flat meets saw me a little bit sad, but it is normal, but specially Mariska teach me a song: “Always look on the bright side of life !!!” And then I felt better, now I only can say, that we must enjoy each minute of our life, and smile all time.

We must to keep the best moments of this experience, because last day is only one moment of this little trip, but this journey is full of small moments that we live everyday, and we need to try to remember all of them together in our small brain.

Please don´t forget that it was our choice. Problably the best choice of our life.

MY FIRST TIME!

Hi everyone!

This week I felt my first time!!!

¿WHAT DOES FIRST TIME MEANS? Usually when we speak about our first time, the most of people think about sex and other things like that. Moreover, there are a lot of people who said that first times are the worst experiences. But I don’t know why, it isn’t my case.

Last Saturday, all Erasmus students met in the house of one of us, we celebrate our first month like Erasmus students, cooking meals from different countries. After dinner, one of us proposes to do something, but I’m sure that it was the first time for most of us. Please don’t think anything bad, it was a game, the famous game of “poker”. And of course, it wasn’t a bad experience for me. I win a good lot at the beginning of the game, and I spent it, losing money and borrow money to rest of players, but at the end of the game, I win again, another award, better than before. It is a grief doesn’t play with money, because today I could be millionaire.

But I’m sure that if I play with money I will loose everything. Because if you are lucky in love, you aren’t lucky in games. It´s a joke but it is the best joke when you lose everything.



But it was only my first experience with the triumph in Denmark, because Friday night, polish girls, Anja and me were bored and starving at the kitchen, and I decided to cook something, but we need something sweet, and we haven’t any sweet thing. At the end I thought to cook pancakes, but it was my first time too. I can said that I had good teachers (polish girls), because pancakes were delicious.

On the other hand, yesterday, all my flat meets and me play did a light party. We spent the Saturday night drinking beers and playing billars in our accommodation, and this game was also new for me. I start playing like a joke, the rules are easy, you need to put balls into the holes, but I was learning all rules during the game, and like my all first time, I had a triumph again. It was a good night.



This week was full of first times for me. And I’m sure that I will have more first times, because life has a lot of things, and we need to experience the most things of them.

DENMARK STORYTELLERS FESTIVAL

Hi everyone!

This Friday, I got up, and I went to school, there I saw Jette with a big screen to show us different movies.

We spent all morning watching movies, all kind of movies, action, love, scary, but the most powerdul was that all those movies were from Denmark or from Danish Directors.

I think that that morning we saw more celebrities and actors than in some festival like Oscars, Goya´s awards or Cannes film festival . But all of them good movies and actors. Like most of you know, I love movies and cinema, and this is the most important reason because I enjoyed that lesson.

I learned a lot about cinema, especially about Danish cinema, because I know a lot about cinema and directors of this world, but I didn’t know too much about Danish cinema.

Jette help us to know more about it, she started to speak about Dogma 95, ¿What’s that? This was the first question that I had in my mind when she told that. DOGMA 95 is an avant-garde filmmaking movement started in 1995 by the Danish directors Lars von Trier and Thomas Vinterberg. This movement was so important for Danish filming producers. It is an attempt to do cinema more natural, like the life, without special effects and special motions.

The main goals of this movement were:

1. Filming must be done on location. (if a particular prop is necessary for the story, a location must be chosen where this prop is to be found).

2. The sound must never be produced apart from the images or vice versa. (Music must not be used unless it occurs within the scene being filmed).

3. The camera must be a hand-held camera. Any movement or immobility attainable in the hand is permitted.

4. The film must be in colour. Special lighting is not acceptable. (If there is too little light for exposure the scene must be cut or a single lamp be attached to the camera).

5. Optical work and filters are forbidden.

6. The film must not contain superficial action. (Murders, weapons, etc.)

7. Temporal and geographical alienation are forbidden. (That is to say that the film takes place here and now.)

8. Genre movies are not acceptable.

9. The final picture must be transferred to the Academy 35mm film, with an aspect ratio of 4:3, that is, not widescreen.

10. The director must not be credited.

Jette explain us all about tis movement and she show us some movies as exemples, in my poit of view, I think that one of the most powerful movies that she shown, was Dogville, written and directed by Lars von Trier, the film is a parable that uses an extremely minimal set to tell the story of Grace Mulligan (Nicole Kidman), a fugitive from mobsters, who arrives in the small town of Dogville and is provided refuge in return for physical labor.



All movie is filmed like in the theatre, using words to say which place it is showing on the screen. The sky is like a picture, everything seems a town but it is a studio.



Other stylish movie is Out of Africa written by Isak Dinesen, she is a Danish author from Denmark, and she tell her life in Kenya. It is a romantic story about Africa and coffee, where love re always in mind of the main actress, Meryl Streep.





Definitely, I enjoyed this lesson as I´m enjoying of tell it, it´s means that I want to have another lesson like this, because I think that it was one of the best lesson of my eramus experience, and I can say today that I know a lot of things about Danish movies.

WHAT IS THE PRICE OF PARADISE?

HI everyone!

Today I woke up like every day, I went to the bathroom, I change my clothes and finally I went to school after watch me on the mirror.

I’m sure, that all of us, watch ourselves every morning, but like only one second, you thought that you are well, because you saw good clothes, clean face and of course good hair style. ¿Why we want to be perfect for a normal day?

When I arrive to school, I had art lesson, and teacher said us that we had to draw ourselves, using a mirror.

I could do it, I saw myself on the mirror at home, and I had a good appearance, and moreover I was ready to the rest of world.



But, when I started to draw myself looking the mirror, I can’t believe it, I never thought been about my face’s details before, because I never spent more than five second on the mirror.





When you had bad face, people think that you are sick or something like that, and we are worried about this moment, it is the reason, because we want look perfect every day, we are afraid and we went to the street, showing our best smile in moments like these.

Maybe, we can find the other half of us, in the mirror, or maybe on the street, because I don’t know the rest of people, but when you are young, you look for something in the physic of the people. You fall in love of this thing and then you will meet the soul, the person. And it is the reason because we want to look good.

I know a lot of people worried about their physic, all is the same, and all of them think that we can find the paradise looking perfect. ¿What is the price of paradise? It is another matter, because it is really general, but there are a lot of people who died looking for the paradise.

We had to love ourselves, like we are, and I’m the first person who want be perfect for all of you, everyday, and I don’t know why I’m worry about that, but I know that I’m myself, and I like myself. I don’t need change. And someday I won’t look good, but it don’t means that I’m sick or that I have a bad day, it means that I find my own paradise, and that I don’t mind the opinion of the people. I don’t know, but maybe it also means that I’m getting older.

Finally, I drew myself using my imagination, because I will feel depresed if I saw to the mirror. The result was nice, it was a young carlos, I descovered that I have more talent than I thought.

JOURNEY TO THE PAST

Hi everyone!

One month ago, we started a journey to somewhere, some of us for three months and others for four months, but anybody knows what we could find in Denmark.

Each of us, come to Denmark with different objectives, some want live adventures, others parties, and others meet foreign people. But like all meeting progress, we had good moments, friendly moments, and bad moments, but today we are a great family.

First day, all of us, find a lot of foreign people, all of them came from different countries, with different languages and cultures. But we started to speak, and nowadays I can say that we are friends.

At the beginning of this trip, I was missing my country and all my people and it can be because I didn’t know you. I hadn’t confidence with all of you. And I spent long time in my room, alone and bored. Then, I start to meet you, and we spent more time together, and you make me feel good in this place.

It was a good month for all of us, really thank you for be here, and congratulation for this month, now we are almost in the middle of our journey. Because we start this trip together and we will finish it together.

I hope that the rest of time in Denmark will be like all this month. Because I’m aware that when we will go back to our countries it will be really difficult to be together again. This is the reason, because we need to take the most time of our stance here, and spent it together. And now it is a good moment, because I can feel that the spring in comming.
